Telepsychiatry Research and Innovation Network is an online global mental health community who communicate and share information, knowledge, experiences and resources to elevate the quality of mental health care research and services worldwide. In order to contribute actively to the site, users have to sign up to become member of this community.

Meet Our Team:
Dr. Tanjir Rashid Soron is the first telepsychiatrist in Bangladesh with vast experience in planning and developing technology based mental health service in resource poor settings. He established the organization in 2017 to help and promote the telepsychiatry service in Bangladesh and other LMICs. He has been leading “Mind Tale”-a nationwide mobile based mental health service since 2016. He is also involved and leading a number of other projects in national and international arena. He is a Commonwealth Scholar and his works on telepsychiatry have been recognized by number of International Awards. He is an editor of JMIR.
Dr. Chaman Afroz Chowdhury
Dr. Chaman Afrooz Chowdhury has diverse experience to explore mental health beyond the eye of a psychiatrist and organizing research programs. She coordinates the research works of the organization and communicate with the national and international organizations. She has a number of publications in international journals and she is a former TV presenter. She is a faculty of Sir Sallimullah Medical College, Dhaka and loves to teach Psychopharmacology to her students.
Ms. Eamin Zahan Heanoy has completed her BS (Hons) & MS in Psychology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her research work elaborates in diversified areas. Before joining this organization, she served as a Research Officer in an INGO named CSF Global and as a Psychologist at Synesis IT Ltd. She is a certified trainer of PEERS®for adolescents with ASD, UCLA PEERS® Clinic, Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She helps in research activities of the organization.
Gazi Farzana Sharmin Srabony has been completed her Post-Graduation from Psychology, University of Dhaka. She has extensive experience in providing psychotherapy over phone and developed skill in Industrial Psychology & Human Resource Management. She serves this organization in analyzing human behavior in complex social settings and providing corporate psychological supports. She is a member of Bangladesh Association of Child and Adolescents Mental Health (BACAMH) and Bangladesh Society of Human Resource Management (BSHRM).
Psychologist & Creative Designer (Web Support)
Mr. Saurav Baidya is very enthusiastic who completed his Hons & Masters degree from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in Psychology and received a 6 months long Post Graduate Training in Psychotherapy from BSMMU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University). He has special interest in website design and completed a 6 month’s certificate course on Web Design & Development. He is assigned to maintain the website and other online resources of this organization.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Masters degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from University of Dhaka. I am a passionate practitioner in the field of psychology who divides his time between practice, training and consulting, and research. Mr. Hasan is facilitating the members in communication as well as in graphic designing for the organization.
